Arsenal Football Club is a professional English football club from the Holloway neighborhood in north London’s Islington district. The club plays in the Premier League and is one of the most successful in the history of English football. Over the years, the club has won 13 championship titles and 13 times in the FA Cup. The club holds a record number of consecutive seasons in the senior English league.

The club was founded in 1886 by the Arsenal and Arsenal factory workers in the Woolwich neighborhood of Greenwich’s Royal District in southeast London, in 1893 became the first South English club to join the Football League and in 1913 moved to its present location in the north of the city. One of the best times in the club’s history was in the 1930s, during which the club won five championships and two FA Cups. The club did not have much success in the post-World War II years, but in 1971 it became the second double-winning club in the 20th century. In the last twenty years the club has had many successes: the FA Cup and League Cup doubles, two Championship and Cup doubles, the Premier League unbeaten league championship, and the first London club to qualify for the Champions League Finals.
