The 2019 FIFA Club World Cup (officially known as the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019 presented by Alibaba Cloud for sponsorship reasons) is the 16th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organised international club football tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations, as well as the host nation's league champions. Flamengo Cruise Club (in Portuguese: Clube de Regatas do Flamengo) is a sports club in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Flamengo football team is the team with the biggest number of fans in Brazil, and in 2000, was ranked ninth in the “FIFA Century Group” ranking.
Flamengo Fc is one of the four major Rio de Janeiro football teams together with Pluminansa team, Botapogo and Wasco de Gama.
The club originated from the Flamengo neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, but it was relocated to the Gaba neighborhood in 1938. Flamengo’s home ground is the Mercana Stadium (not exclusive), but upon closing for the 2014 FIFA World Cup renovations, the team’s temporary home ground is Enzanyo. Until 1997, the backing stadium was also a home ground for a small part of its games, but since then it has been used by the team only for training.
